RTSC Gala Reports

Saturday 16th May - Norfolk Masters Open

RTSC Masters sent a team of 8 swimmers to the Norfolk Masters Open. Lesley Cook (F), Lara Fenner (C), Dawn Palmer (B), Suzannah Martin (S), Tom Enright (F), Martin Fenner (E), Martin Lane (C) and Gary Wraight (B).

The gala had 50m swims for all four strokes and a 100m IM plus Medley and Freestyle mixed relay teams.

The 120+ team Lara, Dawn, Martin Lane and Gary won both of their relays and this was repeated by the 160+ team of Lesley, Suzannah, Tom and Martin Fenner.

In the individual events Martin Lane cleaned up in his age group with 5 gold medals, Lesley took 4 golds in her age group, Dawn took 2 gold, Gary 2 gold and a 4th, Martin Fenner 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze and a 4th, Lara took 3 silver, 1 bronze and a 4th, Suzannah took 2 4th and a 5th and Tom took 2 silver, 2 bronze and a 5th.

Normandy Masters Open

Janos Leigh (K) was the only RTSC swimmer who competed in this event. He competed in the 50 & 100 Freestyle and Backstroke and took gold in all four events Tom Enright
