RTSC Gala Reports

19th - 21st June 2009 - GB Masters Long Course Championships
Cardiff

RTSC sent a small team of five, but still managed to get some very good results. The five swimmers were Janos Leigh (K age group), Barbara Boxall (F), Tom Enright (F), Helen Gray (D) and Kay Hamilton (C).

Janos gained the best medal haul with 3 gold (50, 100 & 200 Backstroke) and 2 silver (50 & 100 Freestyle).

Barbara placed 4th in the 100 Freestyle, 5th in the 50 Breaststroke, 6th in the 50 Freestyle, 9th in the 400 Freestyle and took bronze in the 100 Breaststroke.

Tom placed 4th in the 100 Butterfly, 5th in the 50 Butterfly, 6th in the 100 & 200 Freestyle and took bronze in the 200 Butterfly.

Helen placed 4th in the 200 & 400 Freestyle and also took bronze in the 100 & 800 Freestyle and took top prize in the 1500 Freestyle.

Kay placed 5th in the 400 Freestyle and took bronze in both the 200 Butterfly and 800 Freestyle and silver in the 400 IM.
