Essex League - 2008/2009
Next season's Essex League will consist of four divisions made up of six teams.
- Division 1
- Romford Town 'A'
- Chelmsford
- Halstead
- Phoenix
- Runnymede
- Waltham Forest 'A'
- Division 2
- Romford Town 'B'
- Braintree
- Canvey Island
- Harlow
- Harwich
- Rochford
Unfortunately, Harlow withdrew from the League after the fixtures had been arranged, so Division 2 will therefore be swum with only 5 teams. Next season's Essex League Fixtures can be found in the Club Calender
Website Quiz Winners!
Congratulations to the following swimmers who have won prizes for the the most original and interesting ideas for the website:
- Rosie Webber - Monthly Interviews
- Toby Mascall - Squad Photos
- Sian Aston - Swimmers' Birthdays
- Victoria Bishop - Coaching Tips
- Brock Whiston - Swim Shop
Where more than one swimmer came up with the same (or similar) suggestion, the swimmer that got their entry in first won the prize. There were a number of requests for a messageboard which is something that was already being investigated and will be implemented in due course.
Some of these ideas will be quicker to develop than others. The first interview will take place as soon as Rosie is available (ha!ha!)
Each of the winners will be receiving a £5 voucher to spend at the club shop. Thanks to all of you that entered.
