Committee Roles and Job Descriptions added below
Please be advised that the Club's Annual General Meeting will this year be held on the 5th July at Central Park. We would encourage you all to attend if possible.
Anyone with any specific agenda items or points to be answered by the committee should raise these by either contacting the Club Secretary, Nicola Clark, or by emailing romfordtownsc@aol.com by the 21st June.
Outside of the swimmers and coaching staff, the Club can only be as strong as those that volunteer their time to support it and we welcome all help whether it be on the committee or outside it. At this time, we have two people standing down. Chris Toolis who has run the club shop over the last 4 years and Lesley Stamp who has overseen our move to charitable status and pursued sponsorship opportunities for the club; Ladies, on behalf of the committee and club at large, 'Thank you' for your valued help and support.
Diane Houlihan and Liz Whiston have jointly offered to take over the sponsorship role and we welcome their help. The following roles are still open and seeking new volunteers to take up the reins:
- Club Shop
- Health & Safety Officer
- Child Welfare Officer
- Publicity Officer
Anyone willing to devote time to one of the above roles or indeed wishing to stand for any other role on the committee needs to advise the Secretary by the 21st June of their nomination with a proposer and seconder. Please remember that not all roles need your attendance at monthly committee meetings. List of the roles and job descriptions.
The members of the committee look forward to seeing you all on the 5th July
Regards
Andy Kidd
